This immersive Indigenous-led cultural tour explores the history, ecology, and living communities connected to the Haw River watershed. Participants will learn about traditional ecological knowledge, river stewardship, Indigenous trade networks, and the contemporary homeland of the Occaneechi Band of the Saponi Nation.
For thousands of years, Indigenous peoples have lived, traveled, traded, fished, and stewarded the waters of the Haw River. This experience connects participants to the stories, landscapes, and communities that continue to shape the region today.

This tour requires a minimum of 4 registered participants to operate. If the minimum is not met, guests will be offered an alternative date, the option to upgrade to a private tour, or a full refund.
